Faith In Action Yearbook (Formerly History Book)

The Faith in Action (FIA)Yearbook is the Wisconsin Knights of Columbus’ updated approach to recording, preserving, and sharing a council’s annual history. It replaces the former judged and scored council history book program with a participation-focused, story-driven legacy record.

At its core, the FIA Fraternal Yearbook is your council’s official historical record for a fraternal year—documenting who you were, what you did, and how you served your parish and community.

The Purpose of the FIA Yearbook

The FIA Fraternal Yearbook exists to:

  • Preserve your council’s legacy
  • Provide a single, reliable place where records can be found
  • Document officers, programs, service hours, and charitable impact
  • Support future award nominations, recognitions, and historical reference
  • Show members and the public what your council actually does

It is not about rules or scores—it is about telling your story with pride.

What Councils Are Asked to Do

Councils are encouraged to compile a yearbook that includes:

  • Council name and number
  • Officers and directors for the year
  • Major Faith in Action programs and events
  • Charitable funds raised and distributed
  • Volunteer hours and member involvement
  • Remembrances of members who passed
  • Photos, summaries, and highlights that capture the year

This content should reflect one fraternal year, not an entire council history.
