Bibles for Sacramental Gifts
Overview
The Bibles for Sacramental Gifts program is Wisconsin’s implementation of the Knights of Columbus Sacramental Gifts initiative, encouraging councils to recognize and celebrate key sacramental moments in the lives of parishioners.
The sacraments are among the most important encounters with Christ in the life of the Church. Through this program, councils provide meaningful, faith-centered gifts—most commonly Catholic Bibles—to individuals receiving sacraments such as Baptism, First Communion, Confirmation, RCIA, and Marriage.
This initiative strengthens the domestic church, reinforces the presence of the Knights within parish life, and provides recipients with a lasting spiritual resource to deepen their faith. Wisconsin enhances this effort by making high-quality Catholic Bibles affordable and accessible to councils statewide.
